Charles Malik

Dr. Charles H. Malik is a citizen of Lebanon, born in Djirran in 1906. He is a graduate of the American University of Beirut, and received a Harvard University Ph.D. degree in 1937. He has served his country as ambassador to the United States, and was minister of foreign affairs for Lebanon when elected president of the General Assembly of the United Nations in September, 1958. Dr. Malik is currently at the American University in Beirut.
